Ebisu's Inbox
[For anyone who is familiar with Ebisu in person, they might be expecting the sound of a cute child on the answering machine.]
[They do not get a cute child's voice.]
[Instead, it's the voice of a young man, speaking calmly and professionally.]
Hello. You have reached the personal phone and temple of Ebisu, one of the Gods of Fortune. He and his shinki are currently busy right now, so please leave a message and someone will respond back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you, and have a nice day.

By trade, I am a performer. A singer. Before you ask, yes - I have inquired to Shikyoin Hibiki in that department. But I need more to work with, in the meantime.
Beyond that, I am quite skilled in a number of other fields.
[Attached, Ebisu is going to find a resume that ... turns out to be very, very similar to Chris above. With an addition of her singing career and a prowess as a mechanic, sub out "skill with firearms and other projectile weapons" with "skilled in swordsmanship" and it's nearly identical, in fact.
She didn't need her shinki to help write it, though.]Ginia seemed to think something in media, manufacturing, or tourism may fit, but should you decide to take me on, I shall leave such things to your discretion.

Your skills would certainly be more than welcome here at my temple. I prefer to assign people to jobs that I know they will not be unduly bored or disinterested in, so are you certain that there is not a department in particular which you would prefer?
However, if you truly have no preference, then I believe our tourism department would be glad for the extra assistance.
Thank you for contacting me and I look forward to hearing from you again soon,
Ebisu

[After all, nothing can be worse than the variety and quiz shows Ogawa put her on.]
The tourism department would likely be fine. I'm used to dealing with both the government and media, so I suspect that should not be too difficult to get the hang of. As well, my concerts back home were fairly big attractions, and marketed the world over so I am rather used to some things in that vein.

When would be a good time for you to arrive so that we can introduce you to how things work in the department? You are not the only new hire that we have recently accepted in that area so, depending on things, you may have a coworker much like yourself to learn alongside.

As it stands, anytime that doesn't conflict with Shikyoin Hibiki's concert and my practice with it should be fine. I'll be performing, and while that may eventually provide its own income, something steady while I'm starting off in this world is much appreciated.
Plus, I have an awful lot more time on my hands here than I am used to. It would be good to put them to work.

Until then, please take care of yourself.

Or at least, as well as I can in a place I'm expected to hunt and fend off monsters, but.
I'm well enough acquainted with that anyhow.
