Shinki List
Ebisu's naming conventions end with "-mi" (弥) for their regular names.
Example of shinki vessel names he's used:
- 邦器 , Hōki
- 筒器 , Tōki
Kunimi
- Possession
- Ebisu's (public) exemplar and, theoretically, a perfectly appable character. Overworked and still dealing with the idea that he's not the real deal compared to the previous and technically-exiled Iwami. Will be handwaved since.... appable character.
Takami
- 高弥
- Kōki (郊)
- Came to service in the Shōwa Period
- Kiso Horse
- Water Mimicry : Able to transform himself and rider into having bodies of water, impervious to attack although weak to extreme temperature changes.
- Takami was known as being particularly hard working and loyal before, making himself known very quickly as a reliable worker to the point that he often helped with ayakashi capture. However, since Ebisu's latest reincarnation and the massive loss the Mi Clan has endured, it's become obvious that he's started to take in a lot of the blame for himself. His work has started to suffer, and he's constantly struggling to stay afloat of his own guilt for betraying his god. He's hoping that by assisting the latest reincarnation, he can assuage some of it.
- Department: Media
- Spells Known: Bakufu, Truth, Song of Ward Lightning
- Voted Most Likely To... work himself unconscious
- Ebisu Catch Rate: 47% when looking, 98% when not
Kimi
- Shukuki (祝)
- Came into service during the Taishō Period
- Died of head trauma
- Kitchen Knife
- Knife Cleric : can be used to "cut" out injury or illness from a body, although only to a moderate level. Anything too severe is beyond him... and the process still stings quite a bit, too.
- One of the most level headed shinki in Ebisu's temple, Kimi is an emotional pillar to his coworkers and can be considered probably one of the reasons why no one accidentally blights their god. Despite what seems like a relaxed attitude, he's very good at dispensing reassurance and can read the mood of a room. It helps make up for his lack of math and magic skills, although he excels in cooking. Right now, he's trying to deal with the fallout of the attack on the temple and how everyone is still dealing with the loss of many in the Mi Clan.
Got himself named by rogue volcano god Sotero on January 16, becoming a frying pan that helps calm people down as its power.
- Department: Tourism
- Spells Known: Rakusui, Umbra
- Voted Most Likely To... have someone else's tears soaked through his shirt shoulder
- Ebisu Catch Rate: 100% when looking, 90% when not looking
- Names: Ei on left hip (衛), Shuku on back (祝), Chuu on right foot (忠)
Aomi
- 蒼弥
- Saiki (裁)
- Came into service during the Nara Period
- Jean Kimono
- Armor Intensity : Can toughen the outside of an object to a certain degree, including himself. Example: could make a marshmallow like a hard rock, but not a bullet
- While a hard worker, Aomi is also pretty intune to people's emotional states, and very observant. This can help him in business negotiations but it's also made him a bit more sensitive as well. His vessel form is something he's a bit embarrassed about, so please don't bring it up. Despite this, he's the best singer in Ebisu's temple, and is extremely talented at Song Spells.
- Department: Manufacturing
- Spells Known: Umbra, Song of Fire Fighting, Song of Ward Off Lightning, Song of Lightning
- Voted Most Likely To.... die of embarrassment
- Ebisu Catch Rate: 81% when looking, 41% when not looking
Unmi
- Iki (意)
- Came into service during the Asuka Period
- Black Sea Nettle, but larger than natural
- Intangibility: can go through solid objects (but not people or creatures). floats through air as if underwater. can carry a single person in his tendrils, transferring the same power to them, or items of roughly the same weight as the average person.
- Unmi hasn't been with Ebisu as long as his exemplar Iwami has been.... but he's definitely an older spirit who has been around for a while, and has gotten to see Japan change quite a bit. He's learned to be fairly flexible due to this old age instead of otherwise, because if he's going to get this upset over fashion, then how can he do his best as the god of commerce's shinki and adjust to the changing markets? A lot tougher and more adept at combat than he might look. Waging his own personal war against changing technology. In his 40s.
- Department: Agriculture

Kiwami
- Senki (川)
- Came into service during the Edo Period
- Fishing Pole
- Tracking Line: Once hooked onto someone or something, the line can track them even through solid objects... but only for a quarter mile before he has to "release".
- A pretty business-like guy, Senki is a bit quiet compared to the others and finds talking a waste of time that takes away from his concentration. He's friendly beyond that, especially off the clock. Believes in the importance of stretching and healthy habits in the work place. Due to his reliability and knowledge of the ocean, he's often the one who gets sent to manage Ebisu's temples on the Near Shore when he's not working in the temple or other businesses. He appreciates getting the fresh air.
- Department: Fishing
- Spells Known: Truth, Silence, Blindness
- Voted Most Likely To.... fight a losing workplace battle
- Ebisu Catch Rate: 49% when watching, 31% when not
Jitsumi
-
- 実弥
- Ritsuki (立)
- a new generation shinki
- knit scarf
- Illusion Projection: Ginia can project either an illusion over her god that can alter their appearance or a single projection in a ten-foot radius. A static, simple illusion (like a cardboard box or a potted plant) is easier than something complex (a moving animal, a bonfire), though time and practice will improve the realism of the illusions. Illusions can be broken by someone with magical perception or other abilities/skills/items that would bypass such an ability.
- A hard worker with low self esteem on if she works or belongs, but still undoubtedly a good person. See more.
